Best aspects of this weekend getaway were the cozy and modern property situated in a peaceful riverbank. the room was clean and comfortable, with a fantastic river view that added to the relaxing atmosphere. Another plus was the warm hospitality of the family who made us feel at home during our stay. We also enjoyed the option of swimming in the river, which was a refreshing activity.
Worst aspects of this hotel were the slightly late breakfast time and the distance from the city, which posed some challenges for backpackers like us.

Amazingly refurbished building, impressive reconstruction, and excellent breakfast. the location is exquisite, with stunning views of the river and the lush gardens. the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, including delicious local products and specialties. the proximity to the river beach is a major plus, providing easy access to a relaxing day by the water.
The room size was a bit small and the modern interior design felt more like a city hotel rather than a charming old building. the incessant barking of the owner's dog throughout the day was quite bothersome.

Loved having free WiFi so I could post my fabulous holiday pics on social media. The garden was great for lounging around and pretending to be one with nature. The shared lounge was perfect for eavesdropping on other guests' conversations, so entertaining!
Only a balcony or terrace? Where's my private rooftop helipad?

I had an amazing stay at this boutique luxury hotel. The historic building, beautiful gardens, and nearby beach were all stunning. The breakfast was of great quality, with fresh baked goods and homemade products. The room was a pearl, and the staff, particularly Rosa and the owner's daughter, were absolutely amazing. Our dog was also warmly welcomed. it was a wonderful experience and I wish I could have stayed longer.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

This was one of the best hotels we ever stayed in! The pictures do not capture how beautiful it is. The owner has a great eye for details. The garden area is stunning, and the rooms are well-furnished with high-quality furniture. The breakfast was definitely the best we had in Portugal. The staff was super friendly, and there are plenty of good places to eat within a 15-minute drive. The nearby beaches, only 20 minutes away, were fantastic.
Would recommend this hotel.
